Act / Trip One
On the stage there cubes of the following diameters. 80, 160, 40 and 60 centimeters. A stair-like shape which allows these levels to form many scenes, settings and places.
On the right On the top right corner there is a prison gate made of skeleton decoration with two guards in front of it. On the lower right corner, there are some diggers and a sales woman.
On the leftIn the middle-left area, there is a squatting woman and a young man stands in the mid-area and a group of people wearing different clothes (Chorus) in the play. It is preferred for their clothes to be simple and poor. Lights are on the chorus only.
ChorusYou sun, flowers, prison, jailer, Zaid, Armo, you birds, trees, bread. Baker, Fatma, Bahya, Om Kolthoom, Hessa, Om Hamed. You night, smoker, wood, woodcutter, valley and hills. You people of villages, estates, alleys and district people. You market people.. listen up.
After Sindbad’s death takes did not finish. The hero of every tale was Sindbad’s, was Antar, was ElZanatty Khalifa, was and was…… But tonight’s hero did not have Sindbad for a gather. (Pointing at one of the audience) If your father were Anter, Abu Zaid El Hellaly.. If.. If.. If he were Salem El Fahman.
